About The Position

OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that supports Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology. OCT currently has an opening for a Senior General or Operations Manager to work with our federal client.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.
• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience is required.
• Relevant experience includes program/project management, talent acquisition, facilitation, program management toolset implementation, and organizational transformational efforts.
• Of the required years of experience, at least five (5) years must be in support of federal government agencies.
• An active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strictly required.
• Must be able to undergo and successfully complete a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 qualifying Tier 2 background investigation for Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the USCG or DHS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in defining program specifications.
• Meet project schedule and performance objectives.
• Implement operational mission requirements.
• Conduct requirements and information analysis, as well as cost-benefit analysis.
• Assist clients in achieving all stated objectives.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables.
• Coordinate work efforts across multiple projects to achieve common program objectives.
• Ensure timely problem resolution and total customer satisfaction.
• Report to Senior leadership as needed.
• Manage and oversee junior consultants.
