About The Position

Odyssey Systems is recruiting a Senior General/Interdisciplinary Engineer to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PAE Electronic Systems (AFLCMC/ES). This is an Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role providing expert-level engineering support to Department of Defense programs and government leadership throughout the acquisition lifecycle. The position supports the design, operation, and sustainment of systems and components, from requirements analysis through system disposal, and may include Foreign Military Sales support. The engineer applies advanced general engineering knowledge to address novel or complex problems, evaluate emerging technologies and strategies, develop or advance engineering standards and concepts, and provide recommendations to government officials and professional colleagues. The role includes system architecture and acquisition support, technical analysis and documentation, requirements and risk management, test and evaluation, interoperability, and sustainment activities. The position is expected to perform network analysis for the Kuwait Air Operations Center Program, integrating Command and Control sensor data into a common air picture, and may address network connectivity, COMSEC impacts, interfaces, varied data sets, and cross-domain solutions. The role is based in Hanscom, Massachusetts, with a hybrid arrangement requiring at least two days per week in the office. Travel of approximately 20% may be required, including to Kuwait, Jordan, and locations within the continental United States.
