About The Position

Capgemini is hiring an experienced software engineering professional to design, build, integrate, deploy, and support production-grade conversational and agentic AI applications. The role involves hands-on development with Python, APIs, and modern software engineering practices; building Gemini- and Vertex AI-based agents; and developing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and enterprise-grounding solutions. The engineer will integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, implement security and observability practices, deploy on GCP, and diagnose production issues across application and infrastructure components. The position works directly with customer engineering teams to reproduce and resolve implementation issues, remove technical blockers, and evolve validated prototypes toward production readiness. It is a hybrid role based across Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and New Jersey. Capgemini describes its work environment as collaborative and provides mentoring and coaching opportunities.
