KOMODO is seeking a Senior Networking Engineer to join the team working on Nanos, the codename for a competitive PvP action game currently in development. In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the game’s networking architecture. You will ensure that multiplayer systems are responsive, stable, and optimized for fast-paced online PvP gameplay. This includes handling client-server replication, matchmaking, lag compensation, prediction systems, and networking performance optimization. You will work closely with gameplay engineers and designers to align networking systems with gameplay mechanics and deliver a smooth, high-quality online experience. As a senior member of the team, you will provide technical leadership, define networking standards, and mentor other engineers to help grow the team’s capabilities. A successful candidate combines deep experience in multiplayer networking with strong Unreal Engine skills, a practical understanding of latency and replication challenges, and the ability to translate design requirements into robust online systems.
