Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

HeadwayNew York, NY

About The Position

Headway's mission is to fix the inaccessibility of mental healthcare by building a new system everyone can access, starting with solving the barrier of insurance. They have automated the administrative work like credentialing, claims, and payment reconciliation. Over 75,000 providers use their software across all 50 states, serving over 1 million patients. Headway is building tools for therapists to run their entire practice, reimagining how people find therapists, and investing in platform foundations for scale. They are a Series D company with over $325M in funding and are looking for exceptional people to help them achieve their mission and make this the most meaningful experience of their careers. Fullstack engineers at Headway have end-to-end ownership, building reliable abstraction layers over the healthcare system and translating them into seamless user experiences. Potential projects include developing an AI-enabled clinical system, enhancing therapist practice management tools, transforming the patient search experience, and streamlining the onboarding process for providers.
