Fullstack engineers at Headway have end-to-end ownership, building reliable abstraction layers over the healthcare system and translating them into seamless user experiences. Responsibilities

Design and build interfaces and systems for managing clinical data, including treatment plans and progress notes, integrating AI-powered clinical intelligence.
Own features from database schema to UI for therapist practice management, creating intuitive web experiences for scheduling, clinical notes, and payment management.
Build frontend interfaces and backend APIs for a patient-centric model, powering personalized care recommendations, longitudinal data views, and patient-provider matching.
Develop products and tooling to transform the insurance credentialing process into a consumer-grade web experience, enabling providers to scale their practice.
Build reliable abstraction layers over a fragmented healthcare system and translate them into seamless, empathetic user experiences.
Automate administrative work such as credentialing, claims, and payment reconciliation.
Push the limits of AI tools, experimenting with applying LLMs to real workflows like code generation, operational automation, or developer tooling.
Take ownership of ambiguous problems and turn them into shipped software, defining solutions and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
