About The Position
We are seeking a full-stack engineer to own features end-to-end across web, mobile, and backend. This role emphasizes PostgreSQL (Supabase) and an AI-first development workflow, moving beyond typical REST API responsibilities. The ideal candidate will actively leverage AI to accelerate development and embrace a non-traditional coding environment.
Requirements
- Strong TypeScript + React (web & mobile)
- Deep PostgreSQL fluency (raw SQL, not just ORMs)
- Experience with database-first architectures
- Proven ability to work in an AI-assisted / AI-first development workflow
- Uses AI tools to meaningfully improve speed and quality
- Understands limitations, risks, and when not to rely on AI
- Experience with Tailwind CSS + data-heavy UIs (e.g., ag-Grid)
- Ability to operate independently in a lean, high-ownership team
Nice To Haves
- Supabase (including Supabase Auth)
- Experience with RLS or complex access-control systems
- Deno / Edge Functions
- Gov/compliance-adjacent experience
- Audit logging / immutable event systems
- AWS/Azure, CI/CD, or DevOps exposure
Responsibilities
- Build across the stack with TypeScript, React, React Native
- Design backend logic directly in PostgreSQL (SQL, functions, migrations)
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) for role-based access control
- Develop server-side logic using Deno Edge Functions
- Use AI tools daily to accelerate coding, debugging, and system design
- Own features from concept to production with high autonomy
- Mentor junior engineers, including effective AI usage
