About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring for an AI FullStack Engineer in Dearborn, MI. This Senior Full Stack Developer role involves building and scaling AI-powered platforms to accelerate the vehicle development lifecycle within the Product Development (PD) space. The work will directly impact the design, engineering, and validation of next-generation vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming AI prototypes, such as generative design tools and automated engineering documentation assistants, into robust, high-performance software products for global engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Atleast 6+ years of experience in IT and 4+ years in development
  • Expert in React, Next.js, or TypeScript.
  • Deep proficiency in Python (FastAPI/Django).
  • Advanced experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
  • Proven ability to move beyond basic prompting into complex agentic workflows.
  • Expert knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) and Vector Databases.
  • Strong experience with GCP cloud architectures.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and building CI/CD pipelines that include model evaluation steps.
  • Familiarity with the Product Development Lifecycle (Design, CAE, Testing, Launch).
  • Ability to understand complex engineering requirements and translate them into intuitive software features.

  • Experience with data lakes is a major advantage.
  • Experience in automotive, aerospace, or heavy manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop full-stack applications that integrate AI into the PD workflow (e.g., tools for CAD optimization, automated requirement analysis, or simulation data synthesis).
  • Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems that allow engineers to query decades of technical standards, testing logs, and past vehicle program data.
  • Create sophisticated front-end interfaces to visualize complex engineering data, 3D models, or simulation results in real-time.
  • Take "proof-of-concept" AI models developed by R&D teams and architect them into scalable, production-ready internal products.
  • Develop high-throughput APIs to connect AI services with existing PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP systems.
  • Excellent understanding of cloud architecture, cloud services, IAM, CI/CD, Security measures and Cloud networking concepts.
