Senior Full Stack Engineer
About The Position
The Senior Full Stack Engineer designs and develops robust, scalable full-stack web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies. The role implements complex features across the software development lifecycle, with a required experience weighting of 40% frontend and 60% backend. It contributes to technical design and architectural decisions, leads code reviews, mentors junior engineers, and collaborates with product management and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into technical specifications. The position develops and maintains RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and Java, manages SQL and NoSQL database interactions, and architects and evolves cloud-native solutions on AWS. It also troubleshoots production issues, promotes secure coding and data-protection compliance, drives improvements to development processes and system architecture, and evaluates technologies that can improve system capabilities and developer efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of full-stack development experience.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js, Spring Boot, and Java.
- Strong frontend development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, VueJS, or modern SPA frameworks.
- Experience weighting of at least 40% frontend and 60% backend.
- Experience with microservices architecture, REST API design, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of distributed system design principles.
- Must have technically led at least one project.
- Hands-on experience with cloud application development in AWS or Azure.
- Experience with containerization and cloud deployment models.
Responsibilities

- Mentor junior engineers by providing technical guidance and supporting their professional growth.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain production system stability and performance.
- Collaborate with product management and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Drive continuous improvements to development processes, tools, and system architecture.
- Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with industry standards for data protection.
- Evaluate and integrate technologies and frameworks to enhance system capabilities and developer efficiency.
