About The Position

Join the Application Experiences team to build applications that bring the company’s AI platform into everyday enterprise work. Develop web experiences that help users across different roles accomplish work with AI, supporting scenarios such as initiating processes, providing context, reviewing results, making decisions, and providing feedback. Build frontend interfaces and connect them to business logic, enterprise data, and AI platform capabilities.

Work closely with product managers, designers, domain experts, and platform engineers to translate business needs into intuitive, reliable applications. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with ownership of features from technical design through implementation, production release, and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Experience delivering features across frontend interfaces, backend services, and API integrations.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications and integrating LLM or agent capabilities into user-facing workflows.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as Vue or React.
• Experience designing maintainable web applications, including reusable components, application state, routing, and data fetching.
• Experience building backend application services in Python and designing REST APIs.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and asynchronous services, including streaming updates and long-running tasks.
• Strong understanding of web performance, responsive design, and accessibility.
• Practical understanding of LLM application patterns, including conversational interfaces, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, and human review.
• Ability to turn ambiguous business needs into clear user journeys, technical designs, and manageable implementation steps.
• Sound engineering judgment and ability to communicate technical tradeoffs clearly.
• Experience collaborating closely with product managers, designers, domain experts, and platform engineers.
• Practical approach to balancing rapid experimentation with application quality and production reliability.
• Comfort taking ownership and working independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs, business scenarios, and user requirements into working applications.
• Own feature implementation across frontend interfaces and backend integrations, from early prototypes through production releases.
• Develop responsive, accessible interfaces tailored to different user roles and workflows.
• Make complex AI interactions understandable, including input, progress tracking, output review, result correction, and action approval.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs connecting user experiences to business logic, enterprise data, and AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with platform engineers on API contracts, data flows, and asynchronous workflows.
• Contribute to application component design, state management, service boundaries, and integration patterns to support maintainability, reuse, performance, and reliability.
• Handle streaming responses, long-running operations, incomplete results, and failures gracefully.
• Build automated tests and instrumentation, and contribute to practices for evaluating application reliability, AI output quality, and user success.
• Participate in technical design discussions; write and review production code; share knowledge; and mentor teammates.
• Partner with product, design, domain, platform, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver enterprise-ready applications.
