About The Position

The Senior Full-Stack Engineer will join the Application Experiences team to build applications that bring the company’s AI platform into everyday enterprise work. The role develops web experiences that help users in different roles accomplish business tasks with AI, from initiating processes and providing context to reviewing results, making decisions, and providing feedback. The engineer will build frontend interfaces and connect them to business logic, enterprise data, and AI platform capabilities.

Working with product managers, designers, domain experts, and platform engineers, the engineer will turn business needs into intuitive, reliable applications. This is a hands-on individual contributor position with ownership of features from technical design through implementation, production release, and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Experience delivering features across frontend interfaces, backend services, and API integrations.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications and integrating LLM or agent capabilities into user-facing workflows.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as Vue or React.
• Experience designing maintainable web applications, including reusable components, application state, routing, and data fetching.
• Experience building backend application services in Python and designing REST APIs.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and asynchronous services, including streaming updates and long-running tasks.
• Strong understanding of web performance, responsive design, and accessibility.
• Practical understanding of LLM application patterns, including conversational interfaces, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, and human review.
• Ability to turn ambiguous business needs into clear user journeys, technical designs, and manageable implementation steps.
• Sound engineering judgment and clear communication of technical tradeoffs.
• Experience collaborating closely with product managers, designers, domain experts, and platform engineers.
• A practical approach to balancing rapid experimentation with application quality and production reliability.
• Comfort taking ownership and working independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs, business scenarios, and user requirements into working applications, owning implementation across frontend interfaces and backend integrations from prototypes through production releases.
• Develop responsive, accessible interfaces tailored to different user roles and workflows, making AI interactions understandable across input, progress tracking, output review, corrections, and approvals.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs connecting user experiences to business logic, enterprise data, and AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with platform engineers on API contracts, data flows, and asynchronous workflows.
• Contribute to component design, state management, service boundaries, and integration patterns that support maintainability, reuse, performance, and reliability.
• Handle streaming responses, long-running operations, incomplete results, and failures gracefully.
• Build automated tests and instrumentation, and contribute to evaluation practices that measure application reliability, AI output quality, and user success.
• Participate in technical design discussions, write and review production code, share knowledge, and mentor teammates.
• Partner with product, design, domain, platform, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver enterprise-ready applications.
