Senior Full Stack Developer
About The Position
The Enterprise Content Services team is responsible for enhancing our enterprise content management system and internal search system, and for developing new related internal applications. We primarily use the OpenText TeamSite/LiveSite platform, Spring Boot, and AI tools and models, along with various DevOps and cloud technologies, Java, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS/HTML5, and SQL. As a full-stack developer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable and innovative applications, leveraging your expertise to deliver systems that meet business and user needs. You will be involved in all aspects of our development process, from design to production, and manage projects of increasing complexity, scope, and impact.
Requirements
- Experience developing with Java, Spring and JavaScript
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JSON and XML
- A working knowledge of SQL and database use
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with the OpenText TeamSite/LiveSite stack
- Corporate experience working with web content management systems
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs and agentic enablement
- Experience with DevOps , CD/CI tools, GitHub Actions and automated testing tools
- XSLT
Responsibilities
- Write well-written, well-documented Java and JavaScript code
- Enhance, extend and support our TeamSite/LiveSite content management system
- Integrate between platforms, primarily using REST
- Assist our production support team in troubleshooting issues
- Analyze requirements, explore options, and recommend efficient solutions, taking into account reusability, security and performance and cost
- Be open-minded and look beyond our current stack to solve complex problems; proactively seek out knowledge about new technologies and how they can be used to solve current and foreseeable challenges
- Communicate effectively with peers and distill technical details into human terms
- Ensure high code quality through automated unit and functional testing
