Senior Full Stack Developer - Hybrid / Remote
About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a major financial institution. The role focuses on full stack development, emphasizing backend C#/.NET and API development. The developer will build and support microservices in the financial services and payment processing domain, deliver features independently, and mentor junior developers. This is a hybrid role, with preference for candidates near Wilmington, DE; Horsham, PA; Lake Mary, FL; Woodbury, NY; or South Jordan, UT. Fully remote candidates will also be considered. Successful contract-to-hire candidates may transition to full-time employment. Candidates must be available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees.
Requirements
- Strong full stack development experience, emphasizing backend and API development.
- Experience developing with C#/.NET.
- Experience building and supporting microservices.
- Strong knowledge of API architecture, design, development, security, and best practices.
- Experience with unit testing and knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Cloud experience, preferably AWS; Azure experience is acceptable.
- Front-end fundamentals, including HTML and JavaScript.
- Financial services or banking experience, or experience related to payment processing.
- Experience with payment processing and servicing platforms.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal ramp-up.
- Senior-level mindset and leadership qualities.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with React.
- Infrastructure as Code experience, preferably Terraform.
- Experience designing scalable, maintainable, and extensible solutions.
- Exposure to AI development or delivery.
- Experience with Appian, Pega, or other low-code platforms.
- Credit card servicing knowledge.
- Origination systems or process experience.
Responsibilities
- Quickly understand requirements and become effective within an established development process.
- Deliver features and APIs promptly to improve team velocity.
- Build and support microservices in financial services and payment processing.
- Mentor less experienced developers and serve as a role model for the team.
- Work independently with minimal ramp-up.
