About The Position

The Senior Full Stack Developer (Data Engineering) will develop production applications and data engineering solutions. The role involves Python API development and data processing, SQL and data modeling, dbt-based transformation work, React development, REST API construction, and the design and maintenance of ELT pipelines and data warehouses. The position is remote and full-time. Candidates should have strong communication skills and experience working directly with clients.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with Python, including API development and data processing.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• At least 2 years of hands-on dbt experience, including models, testing, and documentation.
• At least 3 years of experience developing production applications using React.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building REST APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience designing and maintaining ELT pipelines and data warehouses.
• Hands-on experience with Git, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with clients.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
• Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Kafka.
• Experience with BI tools, AI/ML pipelines, or LLM-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop APIs and process data using Python.
• Write complex SQL queries, model data, and tune performance.
• Build and maintain dbt models, tests, and documentation.
