About The Position

UA Brands is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to build and enhance modern, customer-facing web applications supporting its ecommerce platforms and digital experiences. The role develops responsive, high-performance user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, and modern front-end practices. As a senior member of the development team, the developer collaborates with designers, backend developers, product stakeholders, and business teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and accessible web experiences. The role helps guide front-end architecture decisions, optimize application performance, and ensure adherence to UI/UX best practices and web standards. The ideal candidate creates exceptional user experiences, writes clean and maintainable code, and uses modern development tools, including AI-assisted coding platforms such as Cursor, to improve productivity and software quality. The role is remote within UA's US employer states. Remote employees work from home and are expected to be online and available during their team's core business hours. A company computer is provided for business use.

Requirements

5–7+ years of professional front-end software development experience.
Proven experience building modern web applications using React and JavaScript.
Experience developing responsive, customer-facing digital experiences.
Experience working in collaborative software development environments.
Experience with Cursor AI or similar AI coding assistants.
Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
Responsive web design skills.
Knowledge of SASS or LESS.
Knowledge of AJAX and Git.
Cross-browser compatibility skills.
Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG), SEO best practices, and performance optimization.
Experience with Agile development.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to balance user experience, performance, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-facing web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.
Build reusable front-end components and scalable UI architectures.
Develop features and functionality that enhance customer experiences across ecommerce and business applications.
Implement responsive designs that perform consistently across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to modern web standards.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional, high-quality interfaces.
Evaluate and improve usability, accessibility, and overall user experience.
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, SEO performance, and Core Web Vitals.
Enhance existing interfaces and contribute to continuous UI/UX improvements.
Integrate and maintain third-party libraries, plugins, analytics tools, and front-end services.
Validate user input and ensure seamless communication with backend APIs and services.
Assess technical feasibility and performance impact before introducing technologies or integrations.
Partner with software engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver business solutions.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and development planning.
Troubleshoot front-end issues and implement effective solutions.
Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, development frameworks, and AI-assisted coding tools.
