About The Position

Vytwo is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, Data & AI, based in the US or India. This is a 100% remote role with travel to client sites as needed. The engineer will partner directly with enterprise clients to understand their technical requirements and deploy tailored Data & AI solutions. The role includes designing and implementing data pipelines, machine learning models, and AI-driven workflows in customer environments, while serving as the primary technical liaison between clients and internal engineering teams. The engineer will troubleshoot production integrations, deployment, and performance issues; conduct technical discovery sessions, demos, and proof-of-concept builds; and advise clients on data architecture, LLMs, machine learning, and AI best practices. The role also collaborates with product and engineering teams to share client feedback and influence the roadmap. Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in a forward deployed, solutions engineering, or senior data/AI engineering role.
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern data stack tools such as Spark, dbt, and Airflow.
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and AI/LLM technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenAI APIs.
Experience deploying solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first, consultative mindset.
Ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Partner directly with enterprise clients to understand technical requirements and deploy tailored Data & AI solutions.
Design, build, and implement end-to-end data pipelines, machine learning models, and AI-driven workflows in customer environments.
Serve as the primary technical liaison between client stakeholders and internal engineering teams.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration, deployment, and performance issues in production environments.
Conduct technical discovery sessions, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept builds to accelerate client adoption.
Provide expert guidance on data architecture, LLMs, machine learning, and AI best practices.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to share client feedback and influence the roadmap.
