About The Position

MTSI is seeking to hire a Senior Flight Test Analyst. This position provides support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Test Directorate, Consolidated Flight Test Organization, with a focus on test planning and execution for the Space Based Interceptor program. The candidate will be responsible for pre-mission analysis, mission execution support, and post-mission data analysis.

Requirements

• US citizenship and a secret level clearance required
• BA/BS in a field relevant to the position and 7+ years of relevant experience required, 10+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for the BA/BS degree requirement.
• Experience with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Missile Defense System (MDS) designs, system performance, and testing
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Java, and/or other programming languages
• General knowledge of industry‑standard trajectory, radar, and optical prediction codes
• Understanding of waveforms, polarizations, and radar data applications

Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of post‑flight Best-Estimate Trajectories (BETs) for critical trajectory objects by integrating available truth data from telemetry, radar, and optical sources.
• Developing predictions for flight test data collection platforms.
• Performing model and data analysis, including object characterization, Monte Carlo trajectory simulations, and trajectory data fusion to support post‑flight test reviews.
• Preparing and presenting pre‑flight and post‑flight truth data planning and results.
