About The Position

MBC is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to provide business and financial management support to a U.S. Navy program office. Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience providing business and financial management support to U.S. Navy program offices
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Eligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field from an institution accredited in the United States
  • EVM Certificate or equivalent
  • DAU Cost Estimating credential
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets by measuring organizational performance and assessing the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
  • Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives. May employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
  • Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets. May conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.
  • Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action.
  • Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation.
  • Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist in the preparation and closure of action items.
  • Assist in the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations.
  • Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required.
  • Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients.
