About The Position

As a member of Bottomline’s Global Finance Team, the Senior Financial Data Analyst will contribute to the company’s strategic financial direction and interact day to day with senior leadership across the organization. The role supports financial leadership and focuses on revenue forecasting, planning, budgeting, and reporting in a fast-paced environment, including financial work for the Paymode product line.

Requirements

• Relevant progressive experience, preferably in the software and/or payments industry.
• Previous experience within a private equity-backed business.
• A track record of working with teams to drive change that improves efficiency and supports organizational growth.
• Self-motivated, driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or General Business.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
• At least 2 years of experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Strong systems skills and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and independently manage multiple projects and requests effectively.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Management, Global Delivery, and Product Leadership to drive strategic initiatives and performance.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data using SQL to identify insights and trends.
• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports presenting financial performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Drive forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for the Paymode product line.
• Support annual long-range planning, operational planning, and financial planning processes.
• Develop financial analysis, variance analysis, and financial models.
• Establish, track, and analyze KPIs to drive business performance.
