About The Position

Exciting opportunity to join Qualcomm’s QGOV Finance organization. Qualcomm Government Technologies (QGOV) provides transformative, trustworthy, mission-focused wireless solutions and services designed to improve our federal government’s capabilities. We are seeking a highly motivated hybrid SG&A/Project Analyst to join the Finance organization and support planning, forecasting, and analysis of Selling, General & Administrative expenses as well as financial management of government projects. This role partners closely with cost center owners across functions (e.g., Contracts, IT, Security, Legal, Marketing) to provide financial visibility, drive cost discipline, and support executive decision-making. This position also provides the opportunity to manage a portfolio of U.S. Government contract financials, leverage multiple business systems and tools, and partner closely with management and cross-functional teams including program management, contracts, engineering, and strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

  • Tech/Semiconductor industry experience
  • MBA a plus
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Prior experience in Oracle/TM1/Tableau

Responsibilities

  • Own SG&A expense planning, forecasting, and month-end variance analysis for assigned cost centers
  • Partner with functional leaders to understand spending drivers, headcount, and investment priorities
  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc analysis, dashboards, and financial presentations to management
  • Track actuals vs. forecast/budget and explain key drivers and risks
  • Support annual operating plan (AOP), rolling forecasts, and long-range planning processes
  • End-to-end financial management of U.S. Government contract projects, including forecasting, variance analysis, EAC development, and risk and opportunity analysis
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Program Management to provide financial guidance, track project performance, and support key delivery milestones
  • Improve processes through automation, standardization, and enhanced analytics
  • Ensure compliance with USG regulations, finance policies, and internal controls
