Senior Financial Analyst
About The Position
Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Finance & Accounting Consulting team. This role involves analyzing financial execution data, revenue, expenditures, and workload trends. The analyst will compare planned versus actual performance, identify variance drivers, and develop financial forecasts and projections to support decision-making. Responsibilities also include researching operational and financial impacts of changing mission requirements, supporting financial projections, monitoring execution against approved plans, recommending corrective actions, supporting annual billing rate development, analyzing customer demand and revenue generation, and responding to financial inquiries.
Requirements
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- Bachelor’s degree
- THREE (3) or more years of relevant data analysis or data management experience, consistent with senior-level technical labor categories
- Relevant experience with financial forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, etc.
- Must be able to be onsite 5 days a week
Nice To Haves
- Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
- Experience supporting DoW, Air Force, USTRANSCOM, or Working Capital Fund organizations.
- Experience supporting budget execution and financial planning activities
- Experience working with large financial and operational datasets
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in complex environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for complex data challenges
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Responsibilities

- Support development of annual and out-year financial projections
- Monitor execution against approved plans and recommend corrective actions when necessary
- Support annual billing rate development and validation efforts
- Analyze customer demand, revenue generation, and execution performance
- Research and respond to customer and stakeholder financial inquiries
