About The Position

The company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its team. In this hybrid role, the Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a strategic partner to Revenue Cycle Management, providing insightful financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analyses. The position involves supporting monthly close and reporting, as well as ad hoc analyses to enhance management presentations and decisions. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to strategic decision-making, and support business growth through financial analyses and reporting. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 5 or more years of experience as a senior financial analyst, financial analyst, or in a similar position

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years of advanced financial modeling
  • 4 or more years of variance and performance analysis
  • 3 or more years of process improvement and automation
  • 5 or more years of Excel (advance formulas, data cleansing, Pivot Tables, Tables, charts, data integrity)
  • 3 or more years working with PeopleSoft Financials and/or Oracle or other comparable ERP systems
  • 3 or more years working with Hyperion, Essbase, or SmartView
  • 3 or more years of General Ledger Knowledge – structure, reconciliations, coding, and accruals
  • 3 or more years of Healthcare industry experience
  • 2 or more years of Revenue Cycle Management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field)
  • CPA
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial modeling and analyses related to Accounts Receivable, revenue, and allowances
  • Track and report KPIs such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), coverage ratios, etc.
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting and automation of processes
  • Create and analyze monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management ensuring financial information is accurate and timely
  • Identify trends and deviations from expectations and provide insight to senior management
  • Drive automation and process improvements for monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Analyze and calculate adjustments to specific reserve accruals
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, scenario modeling, and predictive analytics
  • Review and provide GL coding for Refund and Recovery requests
  • Identify areas impacting price and work with business segment owners to understand, document, and communicate findings
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls are adhered to
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Revenue Cycle Management, delivering insightful financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analyses
  • Support monthly close and reporting
