The Business Data Analyst supports Financial Services and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) by delivering regular and ad hoc reporting and actionable insights across the Financial Services business. This role integrates credit, sales, operational, and financial data from internal systems and third party partners to support financial planning, performance management, and data driven decision making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 2-4 years experience as a Financial Analyst or Staff Accountant
  • Excellent Excel skills (Including Pivot table & Vlookup) required
  • Local to the Akron, OH area and available to work a hybrid schedule in-office (9-12 days/month)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP, Alteryx, and Tableau is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain recurring and ad hoc reporting for Financial Services and FP&A, providing insights into credit, sales, and operational performance
  • Support budgeting and monthly reporting for Brand and departmental leadership
  • Consolidate and validate financial and operational data across Brands and third party partners, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with corporate policies
  • Perform deep dive analyses on Financial Services products and services, including sales trends and credit performance
  • Identify and resolve data inaccuracies and variances; respond to management inquiries with clear, data backed analysis
  • Utilize tools such as Alteryx, Business Objects, and Tableau to develop reports, dashboards, and analytical models
  • Create and maintain databases and data marts to improve efficiency, usability, and access to data
  • Support system enhancements, operating policies, monthly processing, and reconciliations as required
