About The Position

JM&A Group is seeking a curious, analytical, and forward-thinking Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This highly visible role will partner with business leaders and senior executives to turn financial data into actionable insights, solve complex business challenges, and influence strategic decisions. If you enjoy asking “why,” challenging assumptions, connecting the dots, and finding better ways to do things, this role is for you.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand the “why” behind the numbers.
• Ability to connect financial results to business drivers and broader trends.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior leaders and non-financial audiences.
• Ability to challenge assumptions and provide fact-based recommendations.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to take ownership from idea through execution.
• Advanced Excel skills
• A continuous-improvement mindset with an interest in technology, automation, and data.

Nice To Haves

• Oracle EPM experience preferred
• Essbase a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyze actual results, budgets, and forecasts to identify trends, explain variances, and uncover opportunities.
• Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights.
• Partner with business leaders to understand challenges, evaluate opportunities, and influence outcomes.
• Challenge assumptions, investigate root causes, and develop solutions to complex business problems.
• Enhance financial models, reporting, and planning processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain scenario-based long-range plans to support strategic decision-making.
• Build dashboards and reporting solutions that provide meaningful visibility into business performance.
• Leverage technology, automation, and analytics to improve how Finance operates.
• Lead or contribute to projects from concept through execution.
