About The Position

Aspirus Health is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Aspirus Health Plan team in Wausau, Wisconsin. The role coordinates accounting and financial matters for the Division and supports the Regional Director of Finance in strategic planning and forecasting to support decision-making. The analyst contributes to system finance initiatives as part of the fiscal services team and collaborates to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for the Division. The role may also assist with preparing accurate, complete, and timely reports; provide analytical support for projects; and improve finance processes, procedures, and documentation. Project coordination and implementation may also be a focus. The position interacts with cross-functional groups throughout the organization, both within and outside Finance. This is a full-time position at 1.0 FTE, or 80 hours every two weeks.

Requirements

Knowledge of accounting standards and practices, normally acquired through a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience in a related area.
Five to seven years of health care financial management experience.
Complete annual competencies required by Aspirus and/or applicable regulatory agencies, based on entity and/or job position.

Responsibilities
