About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team based in Oak Brook, Illinois. This role serves as a key finance partner to the business and cross-functional leaders, supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis to drive strategic decision-making and operational performance. In this role, you will collaborate with Business Units, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to deliver insights, evaluate performance, and support financial objectives. This position offers the opportunity to lead complex analyses, influence business decisions, and contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • Minimum of three (3) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles with increasing scope and responsibility
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate complexity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across functions and organizational levels
  • High degree of integrity and professionalism with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial or enterprise systems required

  • Experience in a consumer packaged goods or manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support financial planning and analysis activities including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Partner with Business Unit, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to develop and communicate financial objectives and strategic plans
  • Track performance against financial targets and support development of alternative scenarios to achieve business goals
  • Lead analysis and communication of monthly forecast variances by collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Develop and analyze financial forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Analyze input cost variables and evaluate pricing scenarios to support margin optimization and business growth
  • Develop and enhance reporting to provide insights into key performance metrics for Business Units, categories, and customers
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify cost improvement, simplification, and strategic pricing opportunities
  • Collaborate with FP&A teams to streamline reporting and improve analytical capabilities
  • Support consistent financial reporting across divisions to enable comparability across the organization
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned
