What you will do You will belong to a global finance team responsible for analyzing cost of goods sold (COGS), monitoring manufacturing metrics like yields standard vs actual cost variance analysis, gross margin, and providing financial guidance to production and cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • As minimum you need to have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
  • You will have enough years and proven experience of working with financial analysis where it would be a merit if it comes from a manufacturing industry.
  • You have a strong proficiency in financial concepts, modeling, and analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, macros) and experience with financial software (preferably Oracle).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing cost accounting and cost allocation principles.
  • Excellent communicator and presentation skills to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • You have the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Financial analysis and reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identify trends, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assist with the annual budget preparation and monthly/quarterly forecast updates, including capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operating expenses (OPEX).
  • Variance analysis: Analyze and explain variances between actual financial results and budgets/forecasts, recommending corrective actions where needed.
  • Financial modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decisions, such as capital investments or mergers and acquisitions.
  • Cost analysis: Analyze manufacturing costs, including standard costing and inventory revaluation, and provide insights to improve cost efficiency.
  • KPI and performance tracking: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational performance metrics, such as yield gross margin, to assess and improve financial and operational health.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with various departments, including production, to provide financial support, gather data, and drive financial best practices.
  • Process improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial analysis, reporting processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
