About The Position

Roku is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role will play a critical part in supporting Roku Ad Sales and Product FP&A, along with supporting key business partners and developing automated reporting and forecasting solutions to drive business insight that is relevant and digestible. This role provides broad exposure to senior leadership and key decision makers across the company. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting Roku's business by consolidating financial data, identifying key drivers, and conducting detailed analyses that surface meaningful insights about performance trends. This role partners closely with multiple FP&A teams to develop standardized reporting and visibility into the financial levers that drive business outcomes. The Senior Financial Analyst will create materials and analyses consumed across the company, providing a unique consolidated perspective on performance across a portfolio of business units. This person will contribute to long-range strategic planning, annual planning, forecasting, and close cycles while ensuring financial reporting accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a desire to operate in a dynamic environment. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related financial analysis discipline, ideally at a technology company
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to decipher complex business drivers and deliver high-quality analytics and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams within tight deadlines and drive projects to completion
  • Experience implementing new processes and reporting solutions in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Comfort with cyclical workloads that peak around key corporate deliverables such as close, forecast cycles, and board meetings
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with large and complex data sets

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Looker, SQL, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or NetSuite is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the consolidation of actuals and forecasts across business units for long-range strategic planning, annual planning, and forecast and close cycles
  • Produce reporting that encompasses the full P&L (revenue to operating profit), units, and headcount
  • Collaborate with the broader FP&A team to craft narratives for senior leadership, connecting results and key metrics for comprehensive performance explanations and forward-looking projections
  • Work cross-functionally to develop, track, and analyze KPIs across various parts of the business
  • Produce and distribute recurring and ad hoc management reports, ensuring financial reporting accuracy and timeliness
  • Drive the continued development of standardized reporting and presentations across the business
  • Develop and manage source-of-truth data sources that feed into financial reporting
  • Support the creation of materials and analyses for executive and board-level audiences
