Senior Financial Analyst

EFC InternationalSt. Louis, MO

About The Position

EFC International is building out its FP&A function, and this role sits at the center of that build. The Senior Financial Analyst will own the company's end-to-end margin picture — from pricing program execution and cost standards management through to weekly and monthly reporting delivered to leadership. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role on a lean two-person FP&A team, working directly with and reporting to the FP&A Director. The right candidate is a self-starter who brings analytical rigor, process discipline, and the curiosity to understand the business behind the numbers. Over time, this person will grow into a cross-functional business partner — participating directly in pricing conversations, cost reviews, and operational discussions alongside the FP&A Director.

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple deliverables
  • Strong communicator — written and verbal

  • Familiarity with ERPs and cost standard management

  • Own cost standard maintenance within ERPs/systems of record — ensuring standards are accurate and current
  • Monitor cost changes over time, flag meaningful variances, and explain drivers
  • Build and maintain cost trend reporting that gives leadership visibility into input cost movements
  • Collaborate with operations and procurement to understand and validate cost inputs
  • Support the monthly close process by providing timely margin data and commentary
