About The Position

Sphera is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support forecasting, planning, reporting, and financial data analytics. The role maintains and improves the company’s business intelligence infrastructure, prepares monthly KPI reporting, and supports financial reporting and forecasting for the Services / Consulting business. It also provides ad-hoc analysis for senior financial leadership, the extended executive team, and the company’s financial sponsor. The position is highly visible among cross-functional stakeholders and offers exposure to a range of business areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Either 2–4 years of experience in public accounting, preferably Big 4, or 3–5 years of experience in a financial analyst or related position.
• Alteryx and Power BI fluency.
• Advanced Excel skills, including strong financial modeling skills.
• Intermediate PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment with changing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Finance data and analytics initiatives, maintaining and improving existing Alteryx workflows and Power BI reports across Finance team pillars.
• Prepare financial and operational KPIs, including bookings, pipeline, win rates, and average selling price, and identify opportunities to improve results.
• Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting for the Services / Consulting business.
• Analyze monthly financial results against budgets and re-forecast annual and quarterly projections based on current financial information.
• Construct financial models for recurring forecasting, annual budgeting, and pro forma scenario planning for internal and external growth opportunities.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting presentations for Executive team and Board of Directors meetings.
• Assist with M&A activities, including post-acquisition integration of financial data and systems.
• Conduct ad-hoc deep dives into pressing business issues and opportunities across the company.
