About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst oversees financial consolidation, reporting and report development, analysis, and forecasting. The role works across business areas and management levels to maintain and develop reporting for senior leadership and SG&A stakeholders, helping monitor performance against defined KPIs and inform strategic decisions. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker and independent self-starter who demonstrates emerging leadership and business-partner capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited university.
• At least 3 years of experience in an analyst role.
• Intermediate understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with Oracle, Tagetik, SAP, Hyperion, or similar financial systems.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create visualization tools that allow stakeholders to analyze and interpret large financial data sets.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to develop strong cross-functional partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Perform actual-versus-budget variance analysis, identify financial trends, and prepare management and board of directors reports.
• Collaborate with support-function department heads to develop budgets, manage operating expenses, and identify cost-optimization opportunities.
• Contribute to ad hoc financial analyses and cross-functional projects, bringing structure and clarity to business issues.
• Maintain the integrity of financial reporting processes and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Identify and implement scalable improvements to financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and team capacity, with assistance from AI tools.
• Support the external reporting team and internal and external auditors with quarterly filings and the annual audit.
• Support the integration of acquisitions into the existing financial reporting environment.
