About The Position

Vector Media is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Finance Department in New York. Reporting to the CFO, this role serves as a strategic partner by translating complex datasets into persuasive narratives that support executive alignment. The analyst will provide high-velocity support for capital events, revenue optimization, and strategic growth initiatives. This is a hybrid position, with in-office days as needed. The role suits a self-starting, high-level individual contributor who can manage a high volume of requests, use AI and modern tools to solve problems efficiently, and communicate analytical findings to executives. It is also positioned as an opportunity to develop executive presence and prepare for future finance leadership.

Requirements

3–6 years of experience in high-intensity FP&A.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Tableau.
Proven ability to translate financial data into persuasive narratives for decks and in-person presentations.
Resourcefulness with SQL, Power Query, and AI to automate workflows.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

Build narratives around performance, pricing, and channel health to drive consensus among the CRO and VP of Pricing.
Provide ad-hoc modeling for capital events and what-if scenarios for growth initiatives.
Identify margin leakage and yield optimization opportunities, serving as an analytical bridge for Sales.
Manage the Tableau and Excel environment, prioritizing actionable insights over perfect data.
Brainstorm strategies in person and independently execute technical builds.
