About The Position

Financial Analysts help Google make sound financial decisions by modeling business scenarios, tracking performance metrics, and supporting strategic decisions. This role leads projects to transform planning, tracking, and control processes and provides senior-level management with recommendations, planning, and reporting support. The position supports Google One, a rapidly growing business with more than 150 million subscribers, and Google Photos, a product with more than 1.5 billion users. The analyst will help drive Google One’s AI subscription business and work with cross-product teams, including YouTube, Pixel, Home, and Health, to develop premium bundled experiences and partnerships. As a trusted advisor and financial guardian, the role influences product and investment decisions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
Seven years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate cross-product partnerships, designing guardrails that align incentives while protecting margins and return on investment.
Lead post-launch analytics, performance reviews, and variance tracking for live first-party partnerships, providing insights on impact, scale, incrementality, and go-to-market optimization.
Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Controllership, and partner product area finance teams to align on launch constructs, KPIs, financials, and reporting.
Develop standardized evaluation frameworks, reusable templates, and reporting dashboards to increase execution velocity and streamline governance for future launches.
Translate complex financial models into clear, executive-ready presentations and narratives for leadership across Google One and partner product areas.
