Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or accounting.
  • 3+ years of operations finance experience, with strong knowledge of financial and non-financial metrics, LEAN manufacturing, labor analysis, productivity analysis and product costing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with Power BI, AX and D365 is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels; team player.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and time management.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing, Warehouse, Supply Chain or Logistics industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of the “bottom-up” monthly forecast and annual budget.
  • Perform detailed analyses to identify, analyze, understand and monitor the Company’s key performance indicators.
  • Partner with operations as it relates to day-to-day operational management in accordance with the organization’s finance policies and procedures.
  • Effectively work with other functional departments to ensure that the departmental expenses will not exceed forecasted targets.
  • Direct relationship for creating and maintaining strong relationships and collaboration with site operations leaders and SFAs at other sites.
  • Support business using variance analysis to identify opportunities and implement action plans to improve forecast accuracy, cost savings, profit enhancement and efficiency.
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Understand systems used in cost accounting and productivity reporting to be able to assess accuracy.
  • Audit vendor payables for accuracy and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained prior to payment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
