A Day in the Life The Peripheral Vascular Health Clinical Research organization supports the development and clinical validation of therapies for peripheral and carotid artery disease, end-stage renal disease, venous disease, and peripheral embolization. The team manages a portfolio of pre-market and post-market clinical studies and partners closely with Clinical Research, Medical Science, Research & Development, and Finance teams to support investment decisions, regulatory milestones, and portfolio execution. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as a finance partner supporting the Peripheral Vascular Health Clinical Research organization. You will lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and portfolio analysis activities across a clinical study portfolio while providing financial insights that support strategic investment and operational decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of finance or accounting experience OR advanced degree and 2+ years of finance or accounting experience.
  • Experience in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience developing financial models and managing complex budgets.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to support business decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Experience supporting clinical research, research and development (R&D), product development, or clinical study portfolios.
  • Experience with clinical study financial modeling, portfolio management, or large-scale program budgeting.
  • Experience operating within a matrixed organization and partnering across Clinical, Medical, Research & Development, Operations, and Finance teams.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or experience within the medical device, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Clinical Research leadership to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business decision-making.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis for pre-market and post-market clinical study portfolios.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models supporting study design, enrollment assumptions, project timelines, and spending forecasts.
  • Partner with Clinical Research, Medical Science, and Operations teams to monitor study activity and improve forecast accuracy.
  • Provide financial planning, reporting, and tracking support for external research and investigator-sponsored research programs.
  • Support clinical budget allocation decisions based on business priorities, study requirements, and resource needs.
  • Deliver consolidated financial reporting, key performance indicators (KPIs), and portfolio insights to leadership teams.
  • Identify and implement improvements to forecasting processes, financial reporting, and analytical tools supporting the clinical research organization.
