Senior Financial Analyst Provider Compensation

About The Position

The primary focus of this role is to support the day-to-day operations of the provider compensation team. This role performs financial analyses and modeling to advise decision-making for clinical and operational leadership to maintain market competitiveness. The analyst will partner with department clients/providers and internal finance, legal, and HR customers to address issues and conduct collaborative problem-solving. They will also partner with Recruitment to develop standard materials related to the extension of provider offers and onboarding. Additionally, the role advises on and supports the implementation of special projects, addresses changing market demands for compensation, and communicates various compensation programs/practices with a focus on change management. The analyst will partner with the team and the Manager of Finance/Provider Compensation to develop standard deliverables, including those relating to the annual budgeting & benchmarking process. Finally, the role supports the Fair Market Value review process for select clinical service lines, assessing compensation in relation to productivity and other market factors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics or related field
  • 3 years of relevant experience Finance, accounting or related work

  • LIC-Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - STATE_MI State of Michigan

Responsibilities

  • Performs day-to-day activities to support the administration of provider compensation plans, including resolving issues, questions, and concerns pertaining to select clinical service lines
  • Performs financial analyses and modeling to advise decision-making for clinical and operational leadership to maintain market competitiveness
  • Partners with department clients / providers and internal finance, legal, and HR customers to address issues and conduct collaborative problem-solving
  • Partners with Recruitment to develop standard materials related to the extension of provider offer and onboarding
  • Advises upon and supports the implementation of special projects as required, including addressing changing market demands for compensation and the communication of various compensation programs / practices with a focus on change management
