About The Position

This role supports Mylar Americas in establishing an FP&A driven mindset, encompassing all FP&A processes. It also contributes to Global Mylar processes and provides ad hoc support for Finance Team activities such as financial audits. The ideal candidate is passionate about and capable of driving cost management, productivity improvement, and standardization in forecasting processes. This position is accountable for driving and monitoring business improvement projects and is expected to consistently push operations to meet and exceed objectives. The role acts as a business partner, owning and driving cost and productivity management across Mylar Americas and implementing an FP&A mindset. Key attributes include high integrity, creativity, efficiency, and strong communication skills. The candidate will actively keep stakeholders engaged and informed of critical activities and issues, including the Mylar CFO, Mylar CEO, and Regional Operations and functional leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• 8+ years in Finance / preferable FP&A.
• Manufacturing experience highly preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to collaborate and communicate with different levels in the organization (peers, operation managers, senior leaders, operators etc.).
• CPA preferred.
• Proficient in SAP.

Responsibilities

• Drive Margin analysis to support better decision-making on VM and GM improvement of Mylar business.
• Provide financial modeling on business optimization projects.
• Consolidate Financial Forecast and AOP process for Americas Region and drive forecast accuracy as well as accountability.
• Support Mylar Global CFO/Finance Team in any related reporting requests.
• Optimize and maintain existing reporting decks for internal business reviews and manufacturing reviews (KPI’s, trends etc.).
• Coordinate with other local regional Mylar finance organizations to harmonize FP&A processes.
