The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business. We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - Distribution Revenue to join our Global FP&A team based in our New York, NY office.

Requirements

3 - 5 plus years of experience in Finance or Management Consulting
Advanced Excel/PowerPoint and presentation skills.
Prior experience with financial modeling is required.
Extremely diligent with a high attention to detail.
Comfortable working in high pressure situations.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience within the Media industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Create financial models to reflect proposals as part of negotiations of MVPD and partnership opportunities
Perform financial analysis of proposed economics
Review contractual provisions during negotiations to ensure economic terms within the financial model and contract agree
Provide financial analysis to evaluate streaming bundles and partnerships
Develop expertise on Distributors and the landscape: Analyze subscriber trends and financial history
Operational strategy/positioning of products in the marketplace, including the pricing and packaging of linear and SVOD services.
Research, analyze, and summarize industry trends to inform renewal strategy
Support the preparation of the Board of Directors' Budget presentations and quarterly reporting
Track Distribution Revenue metrics, including Rate Per Basic Subscriber and Average Revenue per User
Provide ongoing support to the Director, Distribution Finance in fundamental reporting and analysis, and ad hoc tasks.
