About The Position

The Senior Finance Analyst, C&B will be responsible for managing all aspects of Compensation & Benefit costs, at the corporate level, including monthly close processes, reconciliation, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, with a high-level of focus on accuracy and insight.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
Firm understanding of US GAAP
Strong computer skills; expert-level proficiency in Excel, proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
Strong writing and analytical skills
Attention to detail, accuracy, process-oriented, and organized
Ability to think strategically
Ability to take ownership of new tasks/problems and solve them with precision and thoughtfulness
Must possess a quantitative approach to analyzing data and solving problems
Strong ability to develop rapport and trust and to maintain business relationships
Ability to present in front of senior and executive leadership

Advanced understanding of P&L, Cash Flows and Balance sheet and related drivers
Understanding of corporate systems – Longview, PeopleSoft and / or SAP

Responsibilities

Manage monthly C&B closing processes, validate financial results, and reconcile account balances
Prepare monthly actual/forecast presentations to be reviewed with Ops Controller and Director, Corporate FP&A
Consistently provide financial analysis on cost drivers and other ad-hoc analysis, as required
Assist in the development, tracking, and reporting of annual Corporate & Business performance metrics aligned with variable compensation programs including preparing presentations, analyzing performance metrics, modeling scenarios, and offering valuable insight to Senior Management
Manage the preparation and publication of corporate budget guidelines for Finance function
Partner with ACR, Compensation, and Benefits teams to provide analytics and insight for Senior Management
Collaborate with business partners to develop an annual budget and long-range plan aligned with our strategic initiatives and objectives
Participate in a team providing key finance analysis for Senior Management
Drive finance continuous process improvement
