About the position
Clair is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team and contribute to the development of a strong financial culture within the company. As the second member of the FP&A team, the candidate will collaborate with leaders across various departments and play a crucial role in shaping the company's strategy, financial reporting, budget process, and more. The ideal candidate should have a background in high-growth startups or Big 4 accounting firms, possess strong accounting skills, and be experienced in financial analysis and planning. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of various financial processes and contribute to the company's overall success.

Requirements
- Track record of success in a high-growth startup environment and/or Big 4 accounting firm
- Material experience and/or university coursework in accounting
- Ability to effectively analyze 3-statement financials
- Experience with SQL/BI tools and financial planning platforms
- Proactive and detail-oriented
- Experienced in collaborating across teams
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritize ruthlessly
- Experience in vendor management and procurement
- Proficient in standard monthly/quarterly external reporting
- Knowledge of proper transaction booking
- Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Ability to monitor cash position and account balances
- Experience in developing dashboards for data visualization
- Proficiency in financial close processes, schedules, and reconciliations
- Ability to develop analyses for new initiatives
- Knowledge of unit economics measures and reporting
- Ability to provide resource allocation guidance
- Assist with deliverables for investor and Board of Directors meetings
- Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, finance, or a relevant field required
- CFA levels and/or CPA certification is a plus
- Experience owning journal entry booking for financial close periods
- Significant skill with SQL and BI tools, with experience in R and Python being a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
