The Senior Finance Manager – Azure GTM will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Microsoft Elevate Azure GTM team. The role translates business and financial performance into actionable insights, helps lead the rhythm of business, and shapes investment decisions in support of sustainable growth and customer impact. It works collaboratively across corporate and field teams to influence business priorities and develop financial insights and frameworks for a growing organization.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or a related field; or a bachelor's degree in one of these fields and 4+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with management and business partners.
• Experience translating financial analysis into meaningful business insights, recommendations, and actions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and similar financial analysis and visualization tools.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field and 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience; or a bachelor's degree in one of these fields and 8+ years of post-graduate relevant work experience; or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a matrix-based organization.
• At least 1 year of experience in the technology or software industry.

Responsibilities

• Assess business health through financial modeling and analysis of industry benchmarks, customer patterns, and broader commercial trends.
• Develop and enhance financial models for forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, and business investment decisions.
• Identify emerging opportunities, risks, and performance trends, and provide recommendations to inform leaders’ decisions.
• Partner with Azure GTM leaders and finance stakeholders to align priorities, evaluate tradeoffs, and advance business goals.
• Translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights that strengthen execution and accountability.
• Develop insights, performance frameworks, and finance rhythms with key partners across the organization.
• Collaborate with Corporate and Field Finance teams to share insights, strengthen alignment, and scale best practices.
