About The Position

The Senior Finance Manager, Category Finance, owns the FP&A and growth routines and rituals for the Meats Platform. The role provides broad business-unit finance experience, exposure to the full P&L, and participation in business-unit projects and initiatives. It is a high-visibility position involving significant interaction with senior leadership and category finance management, with opportunities to contribute analytics and input on strategies and plans across the business unit’s categories.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Mastery of Excel.
• Ability to manage pressure and tight deadlines, strong organization, and ability to work and deliver materials with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in Category Finance, Corporate FP&A, and/or business-unit finance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Meats Platform planning, forecasting, and consolidation for the business-unit management cycle, Annual Operating Plan, Enterprise Strategy, and brand valuation review.
• Provide analytical support on business results and financial targets, including variance analysis, demand drivers, trade spend, and commodity cost variances.
• Own centralized business-unit modeling, analytics, and preparation of management presentations.
• Own financial models for innovation and capital expenditure, working cross-functionally to collect required inputs.
• Provide analytical support for productivity initiatives and incorporate them into the financial forecast.
• Link to enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives and apply best practices to improve, streamline, and harmonize internal practices.
