About The Position

The Senior Finance Manager, Category Finance owns the FP&A and Growth routines and rituals for the Meats Platform. The role provides broad business-unit finance experience, exposure to the full P&L, and participation in business-unit projects and initiatives. It is a high-visibility position with significant interaction with senior leadership and category finance management, and offers the opportunity to contribute analytics and input on strategies and plans across categories within the business unit.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Finance-Accounting, Economics, or another related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
High-level mastery of Excel.
Ability to manage pressure and tight deadlines.
Above-average organization skills.
Ability to work and deliver materials with minimal supervision.

Prior Category, Corporate FP&A, and/or BU experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with Meats Platform planning, forecasting, and consolidation in support of the BU Management Business cycle, Annual Operating Plan, Enterprise Strategy, and Brand valuation review.
Provide analytical support on business results and financial targets, including variance analysis, demand drivers, trade spend, and commodity cost variances.
Own centralized BU modeling, analytics, and preparation of management presentations.
Own financial models for Innovation and Capex, working cross-functionally to collect necessary inputs.
Provide analytical support for Productivity initiatives and incorporate them into the financial forecast.
Connect with enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives and leverage best practices to improve, streamline, and harmonize internal practices.
Support ad hoc opportunities for continuous growth and learning.
