About The Position

As a Senior Finance Manager within the Banking segment at FIS, you will lead the financial management and performance of a portfolio of businesses, with full responsibility for revenue, costs, and profitability. You will partner closely with senior business leaders to deliver annual budgets, long‑range plans, and accurate forecasts that support growth objectives. This role also includes people leadership, operational oversight, and strong collaboration with internal and external partners. You will lead a team of FIS and Accenture finance professionals who support strategic and operational decision‑making for Banking segment businesses. The team partners closely with Accounting, Revenue Recognition, and business leadership to ensure strong financial controls, transparent reporting, and disciplined execution against financial plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years' experience in people management with responsibility for performance management and team development
  • 6+ years' experience in financial planning, forecasting, and P&L management experience in a complex organization
  • Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial controls
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
  • Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to senior leaders, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience working with enterprise financial systems and reporting tools
  • Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and deliver high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • Experience supporting large‑scale Banking or financial services businesses
  • Experience leading process transformation or efficiency initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage full P&L ownership for a group of Banking segment businesses, including revenue, costs, and staffing
  • Develop, motivate, and manage a team of finance professionals, providing clear goals, ongoing feedback, and performance management in partnership with HR
  • Own the annual budget, long‑range planning (LRP), and monthly forecasting processes, delivering accurate forecasts with no surprises
  • Prepare and present financial results, variance analysis, and forward‑looking insights to senior leaders
  • Partner closely with Accounting and Revenue Recognition teams on month‑end close activities, renewals, and new deals
  • Manage the Accenture relationship, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery against objectives
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, including opportunities to increase efficiency through automation and AI‑enabled solutions
  • Ensure strong financial controls, disciplined cash flow management, and appropriate capital spend
  • Work closely with business leaders to support strategic initiatives and long‑term growth
