About The Position

The Microsoft US Public Sector Industries Finance team is seeking a Senior Finance Manager, Public Sector Customer Success. This role requires advanced analytical and communication skills, business acumen, and thought leadership to support and drive consumption and usage, contributing to the team's growth ambitions. The position involves comprehensive financial management, resource allocation, and deal/customer insights, collaborating with business leaders and their teams across the Americas. Key responsibilities include leading and orchestrating financial processes such as Close, Forecast, and Budget by partnering with stakeholders in Americas Finance and MCAPS Finance Business Analyst communities. Requirements

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Citizenship verification is required due to citizenship-based legal restrictions for supporting United States government agency customers. Successful candidate's citizenship will be verified with a valid passport.

Responsibilities

Drive Azure consumption growth strategy with the Customer Success organization, supporting focus areas like Unified, Commercial attach, and whitespace opportunities.
Provide insights on consumption (MACC/ACR, usage), optimization/churn analysis, and support account-level action plans for consumption.
Drive productivity insights for customer success organization resources, including Capacity Utilization for meeting customer obligations.
Support budget and forecast processes, and drive revenue growth across all product offerings.
Deliver actionable insights to the business to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results.
Support the CFO forecast and budgeting process to achieve growth commitments with clear assumptions and drivers, and manage business risk.
Communicate results and insights to leadership in a compelling and crisp manner with a deep understanding of the business.
Drive actions with stakeholders to achieve business goals, including revenue generation, resource allocation, and investment decisions through close collaboration.
Lead ongoing efforts to develop and evolve the insights framework with key partners across finance and business to stay updated with business needs and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Deliver impact by building on the work of others, aligning people and resources, and fostering shared accountability.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring the accuracy of financial documents and business processes, and driving corrective measures.
Consult with business partners on sharing financial information, approved instruments and processes, and consistency with corporate policies.
Collaborate with Compliance groups to ensure the team is current on company policies and procedures.
