About The Position

The Senior Manager, Innovation Finance role is central to ensuring the viability and success of Kraft Heinz innovations. As both the primary finance partner to all Global Innovation pods and a leader of the evolution from innovation reporting to innovation insights, this role is focused on advancing the innovation agenda at Kraft Heinz.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams and stakeholders, in some cases without explicit authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in communicating financial concepts to non-finance audiences and stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and make key decisions
  • Strong analytical skills and broad business acumen
  • Ability to recognize opportunities to simplify processes and create efficiencies

  • PowerBI and other data visualization tools a plus

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Global Innovation pods as their primary finance resource
  • Provide guidance on financial strategy, business models, and P&L considerations
  • Design all business cases and financial models for pod innovations, including financial models accompanying capex requests (CARs)
  • Develop financial KPIs for tracking and evaluating innovations as they progress through phases of market testing
  • Partner with relevant zone and BU finance teams to enhance the quality of financial models and business cases of the innovations in their categories
  • Own monthly global innovation reporting (e.g., LE, 3y forecast, velocity, distribution)
  • Drive continuous improvement in depth and quality of innovation reporting inputs from zone and BU partners
  • Enhance visibility of holistic innovation costs (e.g., marketing, R&D) to improve visibility on expected returns
  • Partner with global and zone stakeholders on the evolution from innovation reporting to innovation insights
