About The Position

The Manufacturing FP&A Sr. Manager is the central manufacturing finance person within North America that provides broad business and financial counsel to the Head of SC Finance, Manufacturing VPs, and ZTE. The role manages a team of HQ members that support in the consolidation and synthesis of manufacturing forecasts, budgets, and analysis. This team contributes to the achievement of performance objectives via preparation, analysis and reporting of forecasts, month-end results as well as providing business advice and council to factory strategies. This role is a critical member of manufacturing team as it is in the unique position, along with the Sr Director of Manufacturing Finance, to have visibility to and understanding of the entire function.

Requirements

  • 6+ years’ experience, in a complex environment with escalating levels of responsibility
  • Strong technical and systems orientation (experience with SAP, Office 365) desired
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and broad business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to work autonomously and think independently
  • Ability to coach, develop and help team prioritize
  • Excel technical skills along with systems agility

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Manufacturing, OPS Function, Category, Corporate FP&A and/or BU experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for consolidation, review, and presentation of all finance activities for manufacturing, including development of business plans, financial forecast, and financial reporting for 31 North America sites
  • Coordinate the Budget and Strategic Plan for North America Manufacturing with cross-functional partners in Operations, Commercial, HR, and Finance
  • Partner with 31 plant finance teams (+100 FTE's) to develop forecasts, standardized reporting, and complete ad hoc analysis for senior leadership
  • Lead Digital Transformation for manufacturing reporting and financial KPI's
  • Serves as the strategic financial advisor to Manufacturing VPs & ZTE and assures that financial targets are met with identification of business opportunities and risks
  • Influences business decisions and oversee processes to ensure proper controls are maintained
  • Generates business performance forecasts, reports finance actuals, and ensures appropriate contingencies are in place to address business risks
  • Leads the Manufacturing FP&A team across Chicago and Mexico City offices to deliver on manufacturing commitments
