Senior Finance Associate - Global Private Equity Analytics

Bain Capital•Boston, MA
•$95,000 - $110,000

About The Position

Bain Capital is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Global Private Equity Analytics data function. The role connects raw financial and operational data with limited partners (LPs), deal teams, senior leadership, and Investor Relations. The successful candidate will deliver existing processes while improving how analytics are produced and delivered. The position supports fundraising and LP engagement by preparing accurate, timely analysis and bespoke data deliverables in response to investor requests. It also identifies manual, repetitive, or error-prone workflows and develops tools to improve or automate them. Solutions may include Power BI models, Alteryx workflows, scripts, applications, or workflows built with Claude Code. The role contributes to enterprise applications developed with agentic coding tools and partners with Data Governance to maintain an interpretable, documented, and trustworthy data lake. The role works across Finance, Investor Relations, Capital Markets, IT, Data Governance, and Investment Professionals to understand upstream data and downstream needs. Success includes independently handling standard LP data requests within the first few months and, within the first year, delivering a meaningful process improvement or tool and contributing to a cross-functional data initiative.
