About The Position

Global Private Equity Analytics sits at the intersection of Finance, Operations, IT, Investor Relations, and Capital Markets. The team builds metrics, tools, and data products that support decision-making across Bain Capital, including Power BI and Excel reporting and enterprise applications built on a central data lake. The Senior Finance Associate will connect raw financial and operational data with LPs, deal teams, senior leadership, and Investor Relations. The role combines delivery against existing processes with improving them. The associate will support fundraising and LP engagement by providing accurate, timely data and analysis; identify manual or error-prone workflows and develop tools to make analytics faster and more automated; contribute to enterprise applications using agentic coding tools; and work with Data Governance to maintain an interpretable, documented data lake that stakeholders can trust. The role works cross-functionally with Finance, Investor Relations, Capital Markets, IT, Data Governance, and Investment Professionals. Success includes becoming independently capable of handling standard LP data requests within the first few months and, within the first year, shipping a meaningful process improvement or tool and contributing to a cross-functional data initiative.
