About The Position

The Senior Finance Analyst provides financial support to regional finance, operations, and physician leadership at City of Hope. The role collaborates across finance, clinical, and operations teams to support financial and operational results, including performance, service line growth, utilization, reimbursement, capital planning, reporting, and cost management. It manages moderately to highly complex finance projects and ensures financial operations comply with applicable governmental rules and regulations. The position is onsite in Zion, Illinois, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; it is not remote.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of finance experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, key issues, regulatory considerations, and industry direction.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting applications used to manage healthcare-related activities and transactions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance, physicians, and operations to drive financial and operational results.
• Support initiatives related to financial performance, service line growth, utilization trends, reimbursement, capital planning, financial reporting, and cost management.
• Manage medium- to large-scale finance projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Create and implement project charters, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Ensure financial operations comply with applicable governmental rules and regulations.
• Analyze financial data and independently complete deliverables accurately and on time.
• Partner across a matrixed organization and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
