About The Position

Sysco is hiring a Senior Finance Analyst to join its European Finance Team on a 6–12 month fixed-term contract. This home-based role is ideally performed from the Covent Garden, London office once or twice per month for team meetings and collaboration. The role reports to the CFO, Europe, while primarily supporting the Finance Director Supply Chain and Operations and the Finance Director Commercial and Merchandising. The Senior Finance Analyst will help drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making across the business. Working closely with Supply Chain, Operational, Commercial and Merchandising teams, the role focuses on analysis of costs, profitability, inventory optimisation and business growth drivers. It includes developing standardised financial metrics, tracking benefits from strategic investments, and delivering reporting and analytics to support growth, margin improvement and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will turn complex data into business insight, communicate findings and recommendations clearly, and influence senior leaders and stakeholders. Requirements

Experience in commercial finance, financial analysis or business partnering roles.
Ability to interrogate large and complex datasets and identify trends, opportunities and risks.
Ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations that influence decision-making and business performance.
Strong technical expertise, communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability.

Nice To Haves

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
Strong academic background.
